'The number of Serviced Apartments has grown by over 15% to nearly 524,000 units worldwide in the last year…'

…says
Charles McCrow, MD – The Apartment Service and publisher of the 2010 Global Serviced Apartments Industry Report (GSAIR 2010).

The Apartment Service is pleased to announce the publication of the second Global Serviced Apartment Industry Report. This edition is an update to the report published in September 2008.

'…In comparison with our last report, the total number of serviced apartments has grown considerably. The number of serviced apartments shows an increase of 11.2%, whilst the corporate housing total has risen by 53.7%. The total apartment listings worldwide, compared to 2008 have grown by 15.9% to 523,922…'

Under the spotlight in the GSAIR 2010, are the major challenges facing the serviced apartment sector around the world in light of the recent economic 2 year downturn and how this has affected the sector in 6 key regions.

The report, which asked over 3,000 operators to contribute, looks at the commercial and structural changes in the sector in these regions, the problems that apartment operators face and the solutions they are developing to grow this sector profitably.

The conclusion of the report is that the serviced apartment sector, as a whole, is optimistic about the future.

Serviced apartments are becoming more and more an essential part of the 'thinking process' on how SME and large corporate clients handle their staff accommodation requirements and this includes Hotel Booking Agents and Travel Management Companies.

For more information on the report and to obtain a hard copy, please contact us directly or come and see us at The Business Travel & Meetings Show at Earl's Court 2, London on the 9th & 10th February 2010 (Stand number 250).

'The Fuel Card Company' announced today that the special discount on application of new fuel cards will end on 31/01/2010. The company had launched a special mobilization campaign in December and have offered Texaco fuel cards, Shell fuel cards, Keyfuels fuel cards and Esso fuel cards at a Zero-application fee.

As per the company manager, Mr. Colin Peters, this move has already benefitted thousands of new subscribers. It was almost an instant hit in remote areas, especially in the Isles of Lewis because www.businessfuelcards.co.uk became a leading Keyfuels fuel card source in the Island ever since BP announced its decision to withdraw BP fuel cards from the Island of Lewis.

Mr. Peters confirmed that the company will continue to offer fuel cards as in the past and the application fee discount shall be withdrawn post mid-night of 31st January. The company had been bearing the initial charge to bring the benefits of fuel cards to small and medium business organizations. And the company is glad that many new customers took advantage of the offer, thereby strengthening the Fuel Card Company's family.

A fuel card is considered a good way for businesses to control their fuel costs and offers them a fixed weekly price for their fuel. Fuel cards coming from Shell, Texaco, Keyfuels and Esso are available for immediate application through the website of The Fuel Card Company, www.businessfuelcards.co.uk

A new subscriber does not need to do anything special to take advantage of the limited offer discount on card fees because the application fee waiver is built into the automated application system. The company suggests that any problems in availing such discounts should be reported back through their website www.businessfuelcards.co.uk

Finding affordable Florida auto insurance may be getting easier, and it may be a mistake to think that staying with a current insurance carrier will yield the best possible results in terms of overall value. Florida auto insurance quotes are available through many easily accessible resources, but knowing what to shop for is very important to ensuring that many are getting the most bang for a buck with an insurance dollar. www.EdgeAutoInsurance.com

Filling out online applications is an easy way to obtain quotes from several companies, but many will want to make sure that comparison quotes from top rated companies occur. Those rated 'A' or better are the most desirable Florida auto insurance companies. Many find that lower rated companies can offer a cheaper rate, but that may also find that these lower rated companies have poor service and claims handling practices.

When shopping for Florida auto insurance, a first consideration will be the liability limits an individual decides to carry. This is a very important decision and could make a significant difference in everyones financial future in the event of an accident. Higher limits mean that many may be better protected from claims against an individual if the other causes an accident. If an individual causes a serious accident but do not have policy limits that are high enough, many could be personally liable for damages in the event of a jury verdict against an individuals policy. In many cases, jury verdicts of several hundreds of thousands of dollars could bankrupt and individual overnight. It pays to purchase as much liability insurance as a person can afford.

There are minimum liability limits that apply in Florida, but do not be fooled by these requirements. In most cases they are not nearly enough to cover even a simple bodily injury claim.

If saving money is a goal, then consider actually putting away some cash for a rainy day; more specifically to use to fund a higher deductible in the event of an auto accident. A higher deductible will result in lower premiums. As a risk management strategy it would pay to maintain a small emergency fund that would cover a small deductible in the event of a claim. This old fashioned strategy could allow many to maintain a deductible as high as $1,000, which would yield a substantial savings on the collision coverage.

Due to the competitive Florida auto insurance market many opportunities exist for discounted auto insurance policies. There are many types of discounts available including a multi-line discount, which is one of the more popular types. This discount is provided to those who maintain a homeowner's insurance policy and an auto insurance policy with the same insurer. There are also discounts for safe drivers, and for vehicles that have certain safety devices installed. Anti theft devices that may be part of a vehicle can also qualify a policy for a discount.

Be sure to ask agents or brokers about all of the available discounts and spend some time to develop the best overall strategy for saving money on the next Florida auto insurance policy.
